The Faculty Affairs Council (FAC) is the faculty union at The University of Scranton. FAC represents all full-time faculty members, and it also serves as a local chapter of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP). Through collective bargaining and regular dialogue with the University administration, FAC seeks to improve the working conditions and terms of employment for full-time faculty by responding to concerns on issues related to academic freedom, shared governance, rank, tenure, compensation, benefits, and all other aspects of the collective bargaining agreement.
